ProphetX Review

What ProphetX is

America's first sports-native, self-clearing prediction market exchange.

ProphetX is the newest and most technically distinctive platform in the regulated US prediction market space. Founded in 2018 and originally launched in the UK as a peer-to-peer sports exchange, it obtained dual CFTC registration as both a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and a Derivatives Clearing Organisation (DCO) on 11 June 2026 — making it the only prediction market in the US that trades, clears, and settles contracts entirely in-house, without routing through a third-party exchange. This vertical integration means lower operational overhead, a proprietary parlay mechanism, and the ability to offer features like user-set limit orders and a live liquidity pool display that are not possible on front-end-only consumer apps. The trade-off is that ProphetX is sports-only for now, with non-sports markets planned but not yet live.

Sharp US sports traders who want limit orders, their own odds, and the broadest state access.

ProphetX is the platform for sharp sports traders — users who care about price, want to set their own odds, and are willing to accept that their order may not fill instantly in exchange for better pricing control. The 0% parlay fee and 2% wins-only commission structure are genuinely competitive, and the limit-order system is a feature no other regulated US prediction market offers. For casual traders or those primarily interested in political and economic markets, ProphetX is not the right fit today. But for anyone who has been frustrated by sportsbook juice, or who wants to trade sports outcomes in a fully regulated, exchange-style environment, ProphetX is the most sophisticated option available in the US market.
